Cob blasting is a safe and environmentally friendly process. It is very similar in application to sand-blasting, but instead of sand, ground up corn cob material is used to blast away years of neglect that cause mold, mildew and discoloration. At the end of each day the cob material is collected, bagged and removed from your site. The Maintenance & Restoration crew at Monadnock Log Home Services are ready and able to handle any issue that you may have with your log home. Cob blasting, staining, caulking, log cleaning, chinking and log replacement are done professionally and with care. You can rest assured that we will go the extra mile to make sure that we protect your shrubs, lawn, and fauna while we are working on your project. Please stop by our model in Marlborough, NH to see us in person. *While REAL LOG HOMES are "chinkless", log homes built by other manufacturers may require caulking/chinking as part of their on-going maintenance program.

This home's deck was built without the proper flashing. Derek and his team removed a rotted log and filled this section with pressure treated lumber, added flashing and finished this repair with log siding. This is one method of repairing damaged logs that can be cost effective to the homeowner. This homeowner also hired our Maintenance Team to install new log siding on his walkout basement - garage. This was later stained to match the rest of the home. |
